Overview
bliin is a GPS enhanced mobile - and online - social service which enables live tracing of individuals and location-based content, community and commerce services. On bliin, users can locate and follow friends on a map in real-time, upload media: "Shares" - photos, videos, audio and text to Google Maps or other mapping services. Shares are geo-tagged to the location of capture. Using their mobile phone or desktop PC, users can navigate areas around them in search of friends, family members, colleagues or other users; view their location Shares, and third party location content.
Open platform
bliin leverages the power of the open internet with location based technologies. Different from other proprietary navigation services, bliin is unique in providing a user-generated points of interest (POI) database. Furthermore the bliin proposition is based on the open platform: any handset, any model, any browser any PC - and it operates carrier independent world wide where mobile phone or internet service is available.

bliinGPSXS and this mobile site are complementary. If you have a GPS enabled handset or a bluetooth enabled external GPS-puck you can download bliinGPSXS. This free software connects to your GPS and to the bliin servers so you can be positioned in real-time on the bliin map. Your Live! location will be visible for your friends or other users. You can set your privacy settings to choose who you want to be visible for.
